This mild, multi-floral honey has been infused with lemon.
The result is a delicious, golden honey that has a bright, citrus taste.
A versatile combination, honey and lemon is not just a firm favourite for helping to deal with colds and sore throats. It also helps add a little extra complexity to a wide range of sweet and savoury foods.
Lemon-infused honey is great in salad dressings or as a glaze on meats (on your festive ham) and vegetables such as carrots and parsnips. It works well with yoghurts and desserts, adding a light kick. And if you haven’t managed to use it in the main or dessert courses it makes an excellent accompaniment to cheeses.
This is a natural product. Consequently, colour, consistency and flavour may vary from the image and from jar to jar. It is normal for this natural honey to granulate over time. It is not going off. It just needs to be lightly warmed (e.g. sat on a cloth on a warm radiator) until it re-liquifies.
